$30K per annum as a Director Fee is probably at the lower end of the scale for a publicly listed company. But that said, this company is at the very lowest end of professionally led businesses, and at the highest end of risky investments.

Have never been a fan of executive directors. Potential conflict. An effective board oversees management and does not get involved in the minutiae. And this board does not seem to have the level of experience or professionalism to keep an exec director in line. But I suspect that nobody with any credibility in the industry wants to have their name associated with this business so they have no option but to turn inwards for leadership.

The old / new / old again CEO just does not learn. Getting back to a bloated H/O, overburdening an already ailing business. Don't forget that JG, his wife, and others are also going to be invoicing the business for Director's Fees. Boards are supposed to represent the interests of shareholders, but IMHO the only shareholders that seem to matter are the handful of shareholders that have a seat around the executive table.
