I can check but i thought the RF400 mk2 recently (late 2020) submitted to the US army for trials was an 'improved' version of the RF400 mk1 submitted back in approx 2013.?
Logic suggests it must an improved version because back in 2013 they had already lost out to kongsberg.By memory the canon itself is made exclusively for eos for the mk2,probably etc.
ps surely there is more to this than the 'press' describing him as a colourful identity,if i described the mainstream press i would be moderated.,
