Announcement today should send shivers up anyone's spine. It was basically pointing out there is no certainty around revenue growth. It must be pointed out they have a good annuity base so there is only so far they can fall, as long as they rein in costs. The consulting numbers would also be at risk without new name customers as there is only so much they can milk their current customers. Probably a bumpy road to come. They really need to spend some time coming up with a strategic plan to either look at using their software in other markets, as utility billing should be able to be used in many other industries such as small telcos, council rates, etc They should also look at untapped geographies where there is a gap. It is obvious that there is limited growth in their existing markets of Australia and New Zealand, and there is too much political turmoil in their big bet being the UK.
