I am sure that CVC has a plan to move IDT forward - but how and where. IDT has a number of generic drug which they purchased the registrations are in the USA.
The price for prescription generic medicines in many markets are fallen substantially. You only need to look at the Australian market for a month of a generic ' Statin' ( cholesterol treatment ) from a discount pharmacy is A$5.99 for a month - that price include :
The Pharmacy margin
Transport and delivery to the Pharmacy
Wholesalers margin
The manufacturer cost of production ; active , pharmaceutical plant / manufacturing
Packaging
Testing and release for sale of product
Transport
How will IDT compete with the Indians and the low cost subsidised European pharmaceutical manufacturers. IDT is a high cost operation !
