If the Company followed the terms of her employment/ termination then  3 months notice would have had to be given by Lisa (or the Company if they unofficially weren't happy with her provision of consultancy services)  therefore I would have thought a trading halt would have been appropriate because news of her leaving could have been leaked in those 3 months, and given this is a spec stock a reasonable person would think this could affect sp.

But my argument above would be void only if the company were only notified yesterday and agreed to waive the 3 month notice in lieu of payment.
