This is amazing news. Alwyn Vorster, ex-CEO of IOH, to become General Manager of Iron Ore for Boasteel's Aquila Resources! We now have someone friendly and familiar to all parties involved - Aquila, BCI and MIN - to pull together an overall plan for the area.
This has raised my confidence enormously in BCI being able to be part of the infrastructure solution proposed by Baosteel/Aurizon and BCI may even be able to offer it's Cape Preston solution as a short term solution while the rail is built.
Alwyn did a great job at IOH and has a reputation for putting deals together.
This is VERY positive for BCI.
