Crikey, Bernadette Murdoch resigns less than 6-months after being appointed - and no reason given??? Rarely a good lood!!
The announcement of her arrival on May 27 was glowing, in part saying:
"Bernadette Murdoch is currently Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications, Australasia for Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK). Her understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and experience in scientific communications will be an asset to the Board..... Earlier .......Bernadette ....... advised prominent clients CSL, Melbourne Water, Motorola, Australian Telecommunications Association and GSK. ...... Dr Graham Melrose, Executive Chairman commented “This appointment, following on the recent appointment of Dr Dominic Barnes to the Board – Recce is now outstandingly structured and positioned to target its technology against the global health threat from superbugs”.
What has changed, or was she just too busy with GSK and other clients to stay on?
I'm sure they will get new spin doctors on board soon.
