Have heard a rumour that the latest drill results may contain high gold grades up dip from the deep drill holes confirming a significant gold resource ie:>1 million ounces at least. Confidentiality agreement with Placer Dome was probably signed ages ago and they are further down the track than suggested in the press release in negotiating an agreement to get a share. Watch Placer dive right in and take control if the resource starts to look good. Someone told me Placer Dome may drill out the resource so they can get it through their huge processing mill ASAP. It's no secret in Kalgoorlie that Placer needs ore for their mill. Carrick Gold may just benefit from that desperation.
