The BoD have mentioned that "the probability of a successful optimization of the etch process is unknown", so on the basis that PL2, PL3, PL4 is a coin tossed 3 times & the probability of flipping Heads, Heads, Heads (i.e. Fail / Fail / Fail) is the same as flipping Heads, Heads, Tails (i.e. FAIL / FAIL / $KA-CHING$)...the probability of success could be as good as 1 in 8.
It'll be interesting to see how the PL4 cookies are looking in July / Aug'23 when they're out of the oven & first samples are tested.
