I don’t buy the excuse that they don’t have time, if I had this much money tied up in one stock I would make time to be on the board and drop everything else. Perhaps they trust the current management team to do the job but an exit strategy is surely on their mind also. Very difficult to sell any shares when you are a director. I don’t see founders selling shares as a negative, typically they have a high concentration of wealth in what really is a speculative stock, I would be taking some money off the table also no matter how much you believe the story, it’s just common sense. Perhaps they see an exit event (e.g when they announce a partnership deal) in the near term...this could be good for all shareholders
