For those not Accounting inclined I want to make it perfectly clear:

Complex companies cannot manage just on Financial Reports. They give no detail on why the results occur, just that they have. There is no basis for making decisions, and generally when you do they are wrong because they are generally guesses. You must have the more detailed supportive reports on all sorts of areas particularly in Manufacturing, which is not a problem in Service Industries. This what I have been ranting about now for almost an eternity and why I have been so critical of HIl. They guessed their way through. See where that's got them and it will always end badly, unless you are extremely lucky.
