The Board of Scales Corporation Limited is pleased to announce the            
appointment of Wei Yong Wang, as a non-executive director of the company.     
                                                                              
Mr Wang is CEO of China Resources Ng Fung Limited, who have recently          
purchased a 15.38% shareholding in Scales.                                    
                                                                              
In accordance with Scales' constitution, Mr Wang will retire from office at   
the next Annual Shareholders' Meeting, and will be eligible for re-election   
at that meeting.                                                              
                                                                              
Additionally, in accordance with Listing Rules 3.3.2 and 3.3.3(b) the Board   
have determined that Mr Wang is a non-independent director of Scales.
