APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR
The Board of Directors of Smiths City Group Limited (SCY) is pleased to
announce that Ms Sheena Henderson has been appointed as an independent
non-executive Director of the company.
Sheena has a strong background in business leadership; global branding;
retailing experience in the food sector; marketing and corporate advisory
work at Board and Senior Management level. Sheena has over 20 years of
business experience gained locally and internationally. She has led large
businesses successfully, latterly within Fonterra where she held several
senior roles. Sheena currently holds the position of Managing Director of
Cluster Consulting Group providing a range of professional corporate advisory
services.
Sheena's appointment as Director to the Smiths City Group of companies is a
replacement Director for Ms Sarah Ottrey who retired from the Board in March
2014.
In welcoming the new Director to the Board, Craig Boyce, Chairman said
"Smiths City is very pleased to be able to appoint a Director in Ms Henderson
who not only meets all the criteria we determined a year ago as required to
complete the Directors skills and experience, but will also bring strong
marketing and branding insights to the Board.
