Okay so DW set the ball rolling on a big week for PNV (up about 40%)
now that can seem a lot but I think some perspective is needed.. at 83cents the PNV price was a bad joke... a joke created by the shorters, the index funds pre-empting a rebalance and the let's pile on to the trend day-traders...
well we can assume that the day traders got a touch up and the index funds were left scratching their heads about whether to sell or buy
and the shorts ... well they continued to short because they really have no other option ... yes 10% short is a spectacular number but it represents a past effect on SP and not a current one.. to influence the current SP they need to continue selling..
And that behaviour can only, eventually, inexorably lead to a very spectacular blow up...
