I am genuinely impressed by the duration and persistence of his buying.
I have spent a lot of times in equities and find most Boards add little actual value beyond the normal status quo. Its the great public school network usually, adding mates, who've been on other mates boards. Sit on a few boards, make a fairly easy million or two a year.
This chairman certainly an exception to the norm with solid strategy input and the nuance to put personal skin in the game at a crucial juncture for the company in the capital mkts.
Love it.
