DIRECTOR: SKC: Intention to appoint Richard Tsiang to SKYCITY Board
SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited advises that it intends to appoint
Richard Tsiang as a non-executive director to replace Rod McGeoch, who will
be standing down from the Board at the time of the company's 2014 Annual
Meeting.
Mr Tsiang's appointment remains subject to approval by regulatory authorities
in each of SKYCITY's gaming jurisdictions, a process which normally takes
some months to conclude. In the meantime, Richard will be available to assist
the Board in an advisory capacity.
Richard Tsiang was formerly Chief Development Officer with Melco Crown
Entertainment in Macau from 2007 to 2011 and Group Chief Financial Officer of
MGM Grand Macau from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that time, he was Managing
Director of Cendant Corporation in Asia, a US Fortune 500 company, involved
in real estate, travel distribution, hospitality and vehicle rental
companies, Avis and Budget. From 2000 to 2004, Richard was Chief Financial
Officer and Head of Strategy for Yahoo Asia, based in Hong Kong.
Richard was born and educated in Melbourne and spent his first 17 years
working in Australia for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Merrill Lynch and CS First
Boston. He currently resides in both Melbourne and Hong Kong.
SKYCITY Chairman, Chris Moller, commented that "we are delighted to have

Australian Chinese national, who has extensive experience of working in Asia
in the casino, entertainment, hospitality, tourism, property and digital
sectors. Given his ethnicity, Richard will also bring to the boardroom

business strategy and digital developments in the gaming space".
