AUCKLAND, 2 July 2012 - SmartPay (NZX: SPY), a leading provider of payments
and transactional solutions in New Zealand and Australia, is pleased to
confirm that the formal changes to its Board of Directors have taken place.
Ivan Hammerschlag and Bradley Gerdis were appointed as Chairman and Managing
Director respectively with effect from 1st July 2012. At the same time Wayne
Johnson stepped down as director and Chairman of the Board. The Board has
determined that Ivan Hammerschlag is an Independent Director.
