DIRECTOR: STU: Appointment of Director
Steel & Tube Holdings Limited advises that Anne Urlwin has been appointed as
a Director of the Company effective 1 June 2013.
Professional director, chartered accountant and business consultant Anne
Urlwin will join the Board to replace Steve Hamer. Steve Hamer, Chief
Executive One Steel Distribution at Arrium, resigned as a Director on 9
October 2012 following the divestiture by Arrium of their 50.3 per cent
shareholding in the company.
Chairman Sir John Anderson said he was delighted to welcome Ms Urlwin and
looked forward to her involvement with the company. He also thanked Steve
Hamer for his outstanding service to the company and noted the respect he is
accorded by the Board, by management and by shareholders.
The Board has determined under listing rule 3.3 that Anne Urlwin is an
independent director.
