Yeah agree mate. Too many investors are influenced by the short term market moves. A lot of well experienced and large investors use this to their advantage by scaring small investors by pushing share price down and then accumulating at lower entry point. You just need to make a balanced decision when the share price of a stock retreats. If the fundamentals are still very positive, then it can be an opportunity to buy more, or, you just sit tight and wait as it is natural for there to be share price variation in the short term. If the fundamentals have changed and there is good reason for the share price to be declining then sometimes you just need to cut your losses and move on before losing even more value on your holding.
Also a retreat in share price can also be because inexperienced holders don't understand the announcement and often have too higher expectations.
