Wellington Drive Technologies Ltd (WDT), announces the appointment of John
McMahon as a non-executive director with effect from today and the retirement
of Mr Simon Mander which will be effective from 31 December 2014.
Wellington Chairman Tony Nowell expressed his gratitude for Mr Mander's 10
years of service as a director of the Company and wished him every success
with his future ventures.
Tony Nowell welcomed the appointment of Mr McMahon to the board. He brings
over seventeen years' experience in the Australasian equity markets,
predominantly as an equity analyst (covering a range of industries including
telecommunications, media, gaming, transport, industrials), including
positions as Head of Equities and three years as Managing Director of ASB
Securities. Mr McMahon now manages his own investment portfolio through
Sydney-based Auro Investment Management and is Chairman of NZX listed
Solution Dynamics Ltd (SDL). He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), an MBA
and is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder
Mr McMahon is considered by the board to be an independent director for the
purposes of Listing Rule 3.3.2.
