DIRECTOR: WIA: Resignation of Chairman

Wellington Airport announced today that its Chairman, Mr. David Newman, will
step down from his position as Chairman of Wellington International Airport
Limited for a period of medical leave.

Wellington Airport's Chief Executive, Steve Sanderson commented: "the team's
thoughts and best wishes are with David and his family at this time."
