Xero appoints US-based director

Xero Ltd. (XRO) has appointed experienced US high tech executive Craig
Elliott to its board of directors. The board has determined that Craig
Elliott is an independent director under NZX Listing Rules 3.3.
Craig co-founded and is CEO of Pertino Networks, a cloud networking software
company based in Silicon Valley. He is also a Strategic Advisor to NZTE in
respect to angel, venture capital and private equity markets, helping guide
New Zealand high growth technology companies to enter markets in the US.
As a previous CEO of Packeteer, Craig took the company from three people to
IPO. He also spent ten years at Apple in senior product, marketing and GM
roles, and has written several bestselling books.
Craig has also been appointed as Chair of the Xero US Advisory Board. The
Advisory Board provides guidance to the Xero board and management of Xero in
respect to US operations, particularly around US market entry strategy,
strategic relationships, recruitment and the US accounting environment.
