“Balanced and knowledgeable views” - highly doubt it as it would be based on info from the past from his “close ties” - you’re basically saying he had insider info to be aware of the “inner workings” of the company.
If all is above board who is the person that Bas has close ties with? Otherwise what you have said is merely unsubstantiated info that is no longer relevant.
