This debacle of AVZ is larger than the resource dispute. The real is issue is what have plagued Africa and particularly DRC for many decades. Corruption. AVZ holders are hoping this everlasting trend stops with the current political leaders. It's a massive ask.
DRC requires its own Nelson Mandela for it to happen. They come maybe once a century. I have accepted that my investment will be stuck here for some time to come. Strong possibility I wont see some or all of it again. I accept that as it was in my risk radar.
