Coming from financial background, I can tell you often, Company has the right to change or modify proposals or terms of proposals even if it has been announced as long as it does not break the law.
In the case of the SPP, it is a proposal.
The Co can actually tomorrow opt to announce to cancel it if it wants to.
The key documents for the SPP is the Prospectus. Those are the terms which they have to abide with in this SPP.
Even with the share issue via Prospectus, they can still modify and change it by issuing a supplementary or replacement Prospectus as you seen with many IPOs.
So, don't bother whingeing or waste time arguing about the change of terms compared to the earlier Announcement.
This Prospectus is the SPP issue document which form the basis of the SPP.
