What forced their hand to release this Supplementary Prospectus?

I have to re-read the whole original document now and insert these updates to make sense of them.

Correcting already published documents at this period is unfortunate but may have reasons beyond mistakes have been made in the original document.

Several headings are annotated as CORRECTIONS so I am sure posters tomorrow will shed some light on this curious document.
