If I had a crystal ball my returns would have dwarfed anything Buffett achieved by now. In fact, the 'Oracle of Omaha' would be the one making an annual pilgramage to touch the feet of the 'Auror of Auckland' to gain wisdom and insight!
Alas, all I can do is attempt to form a view on intrinsic value for businesses that sit inside my circle of competence - and then buy them when the offer price drops below some percentage of that estimated intrinsic value range.
Overseas sock markets plunged again overnight. Let's see what happens over the next wee period of time. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Sky shares drop even more.
If they hit 20c you will be lamenting that you didn't sell out at 31.5c! Missed out on a real bargain! Ha!
