yeah Sky is an awesome partner to have - they are talented, engaged and genuinely want to do the best by all sporting codes they engage with.

I really really like the company. They lost their way for a while and certainly dropped the ball form a customer focus perspective, but you can see they are showing willing.

Ultimately a takeover could well be on the cards. And I know that, logically, it is probably for the best given the extra challenges they face right now as a listed company when really they need all of their owners to get in behind them.

But I would also feel sad for NZers if yet another a profitable NZ company ended up being owned by an overseas corporate.

But hey-ho, there you go.
