All that really shows is that you should not make decisions based on recommendations by the 'experts'.
If you have done your own homework and analysis, and have sound reasoning to believe that the current SP is low relative to intrinsic value - then you will be philosophical about the current SP. In fact, you will probably buy more.
If, on the other hand, your analysis shows that the story has changed from when you first purchased the shares (or perhaps a mistake was made in your original analysis) then you may well sell.
For example, if you now believe that Sky has no hope and is going to go to zero eventually... then selling your shares at the current SP would be the most logical decision (even though you may realise a loss). In fact, 53c would be a great deal for a company that is worth nothing!
