FIRSTLY - Fantastic news!
Although of-course, we always knew this was gonna be the case - we were told about this a long time ago (Hicks et al: 64Cu-SARTATE first-in-human diagnostic trial in NETs (CL01); https://jnm.snmjournals.org/content/60/6/777).
Its in the public domain - better images from the very beginning at 60 minutes, and up to 4 times better at 24 hours! For most products, achieving a p thats less than 5% would send the shareprice to the moon. Here, we are so ok with it, that we waited for this announcement!
If we were not convinced by that small 10 patient study (Hicks et al), the next bit of information should have made things obvious to us was the news that the COBRA trial, which was meant to recruit 63, stopped at 45 because of overwhelming proof of superiority!!! There was no need for more patients as it was as clear as - I don't know what, that there is superiority!
THE RESULTS HAVE LANDED!
I do not know if anyone expected what we got:
the scale of this superiority!
- a) The True Positive rate was around 95% for Cu64-SARTATE, while Ga68-DATATATE (aka NETSPOT) was at just 5%!
- b) 64Cu-SARTATE detected about 400 (393 to 488) lesions, compared to 68Ga-DOTATATE that identified about 200 (186 to 265) lesions!
This stuff should not even be possible in 2025! We should be talking small incremental improvements, not giant leaps!
BREAKTHROUGH STATUS! FAST-TRACK DESIGNATION! ACCELERATED APPROVAL! All sound fitting to me!
But then, Cu6 has been a very interesting investment case! Its the only stock where we all know the results are gonna be good, but we still pretend not to know, until the results come out! And the minute confirmation comes, we accept the amazing result, and start looking for something else that, even though we know its gonna be amazing as well, we pretend not to know!
Compared to other biotech investments we make - How is CLARITY doing on;
a) Providing Strategy Updates - including the options being considered before decisions are taken?
b) Providing product education to investors?
c) Scientific output - the clinical trials and lab output?
d) Readiness for big business (the agreements to produce more product than will be needed)
How many Price Sensitive Announcements has Clarity given in just the last 6 months? How good were they?
I think the market is sleeping on a giant of a biotech! There is so much good here that in my view, the force that will be released at recoil, will be extremely violent! Its got to be - there is way too much to hold this down.
I get its the possibility that we will need to raise again soon that's applying pressure on the lid! Whatever the case, and however its resolved, this is going to be explosive folks! Whether its through licensing of just one of the product, or even a straight cash raise: this is going to the moon!
