All I'm going to say is these guys are the real smart money, this is their playground we're in and they know the rules much better than we do. Did they make a mistake here? Possibly but unlikely imo. One only needs to look at how they play this game over and over again, they do get things wrong at times but they are right a lot more than they are wrong. The last stock I remember seeing everyone think the shorts were getting squeezed when in fact they were loading up more into the rally was LKE when it had a big run back up above $1, every trader I know(myself included) thought shorts were covering but the data showed they just said thanks very much we'll sell more into this, same as CU6 since the April low. (as I've said numerous times I still believe in the funnymentals on this one so not trying to suggest this is the same level of shitco that LKE was). You could also look at PLS, lots of little rallies in that where traders were trying to squeeze the shorts but they just sat there, proven right in a big way now
Anyway, the proof will be in the trading over the next few weeks, will they be running for cover, sitting tight or maybe even loading up more?
