Again the SBM board would find themselves up to their eyeballs in shareholder wrath if they attempt to merge St Barbara with Genesis because SBM assets would be 10X Genesis assets and so would massively dilute SBM shareholders because of SBM's share price has been trashed and is sitting near multi year lows.
Red 5 would be a better fit at the right price as they have a large mill close by, however they have too much debt.
Consolidation is inevitable, and I believe SBM is in the box seat.
