If I were TMK, I would be worried that half the exTPD holders would dump their holdings on day one, crash the SP. Unfortunately there are a core of our own that don't like Gurvantes. It's got me stuffed, but they are real. If they hadn't already shown their hands, it might have worked. If I am Brendan it's a thanks but no thanks. Lethal posted a good concept where, say, MAK takes out TPDs Gurvantes stake and TPD takes a cornerstone in TMK. That would work for me, but likely too slow for STX.
