They (and pretty much other similar countries ( well maybe not the Taliban in Afghanistan) HAVE to pay as the World Bank makes them sell assets (like London Real Estate etc etc) or no more loans. Tanzania gets HUGE royalties from established companies there - they have the funds - the better option maybe getting an extremely valuable (on far newer better terms) asset back else go to court - which is due real soon regardless. Getting the money back via court assuming we win will be the least of our concerns.....
