IMO, you are missing the fundamental point, namely that the company in which you (we) have chosen to invest has offered us the opportunity to contribute to the current capital raising, funds which they need to enable a ramp up of production/exploration and to meet ongoing commitments. Now, there have been vociferous complaints, in the past, when 708s have been offered, and have taken up, 100% of raisings, this time they’ve taken heed and gone the other way.
Up to you, and everyone else, take it or leave it, it’s a chance to get behind your investment, but if the appeal to holders fails then I can’t see how there’ll much enthusiasm on LOM’s part for repeating the experiment in the future.
My personal opinion as a punter and LOM holder.
