Hi @Revitup , depends on how long to intend to hold and your taxation implications as well.
I am undecided as in the event I actually get to make a capital gain I don't want to have to hold these applied for shares for 12 months to get a 50% discount as may want to close position in BCN altogether so given I've had current holdings for decades / years I'm loathe to take away that flexibility given the "surprises" BCN's financial management seems to throw up.
Options would be nice but they'll be 0.001-0.002 value probably IMO so do your sums on the value of those as opposed to stumping up more cash and holding.
IMO there's absolutely no need to support the company in this issue as any shortfall will be taken up by underwriters and the Jaurdi Mafia anyway and considering they've done very little to support the share price and shareholders anyway I wouldn't sleep poorly after. It's not as if not supporting them will be bad for the share price - cant get much worse!!
I'll be waiting until last couple of days for final decision on what the share price is at that time and we may see an early pump in week before close by brokers if the share applications are looking light on as well.
