Well the Dow Jones has basically gained back all its last weeks falls. I heard an interesting conversation on 2GB (Ben Fordham breakfast show) yesterday in which a caller asked the question - is Trump right or wrong?. He said that a lot of countries have imposed tariffs on all goods imported from America, some of them outrageous, but you don’t hear any of that from the (so called) journalists, so he asked the question - is the man right or wrong?. Trump said Australia charges 10% GST on all goods imported from America so he is equalling that. In other words America is sick of being used by everyone, so fair enough.
