Global sharemarkets went into steep reverse overnight - over 5% across the board in the US. and almost as much in Europe.
China announces a 34% tariff on US goods (matching the Trump 34%) so, the trade wars are on in earnest.
Goldman Sachs is predicting a growth rate of less than 1% in the US with 4.5% unemployment and 3.5% inflation in 2025.
ASX will get a hammering today - be interesting to see if BIT gets affected as there have been moves to prop up the SP over the last week.
