The 90% I quoted in error was the minimum acceptance level for the unsolicited bid in April 2022.
So it's actually 75%.
If we remove Odey 8% and assume they will vote NO, then the scheme needs 81.5% of all remaining shares on issue (75 / 92).
Still a big ask if one or two large holders dig in.
I'm happy to take the risk and join the NO votes, and flush an improved offer - which I expect IGO know they will need to put forward.
This is a game of poker and we are holding some nice cards. I don't think IGO will show their hand until we go "All in" with a NO vote.
Yes, they could choose to "fold". But I highly doubt that, and it would be very embarrassing for them having announced Pioneer Dome and the scheme as one of their growth projects in their recent company announcements and presentations.
