Time'sticking, and our best shot is to strike a deal with all parties involved in thenext few weeks! If there's a possibility of Dathcom scoring a mininglicense, it could be our ticket to relisting on the ASX. And if we relist withsome good news, who knows, maybe the stock won't tank as hard as would havebeen expected.
The ICSID route hasn't always provided a great outcome for investors.Just look at the Exxon Oil case below for a prime example.
Exxon initially sought $12B in compensation from Venezuela through the ICSID. In2014, the ICSID awarded Exxon $1.6B. In 2017 the ICSID committee annulled around$1.4B of the $1.6B judgement, leaving only $188 million to be paid to Exxon. Whether Venezuelaactually paid that $188 million is unclear, but even if they did, it's a farcry from the $12 billion Exxon was initially seeking.
We don't want to be on that litigation path, we need a last minute deal that's keeps us in the mining game, otherwise I feel our goose is cooked.
