Subject - ASP distribution for Q4 2015
The Smartshares Australian Property Index Trust (ASP) was launched in
December 2014, and invests in 17 ASX listed REITs.
ASP pays quarterly distributions, where available, based on income received
during that distribution calculation period from the 17 underlying
investments.
To 11 December 2015, the Trust has not received sufficient income to pay a
distribution for the period. As a result, ASP will not pay a quarterly
distribution for the distribution period ending 30 December 2015.
Smartshares expect this to correct in the next distribution period and the
Trust should be in a position to pay a final distribution in April 2016.
