Agree that a 12.5 cent dividend is totally on the cards. My calculations, if they get an EBITDA of $200m (which they achieved in Jun22 Qtr), at 75% NPAT (payout rate of Sep-22 Qtr) payout, 12.5cents is where they should land.
I do question if it would be Fully Franked though. For a 12.5cent dividend, TER would need franking credits (tax paid) of $42.8 million.
They paid tax in Dec22 of $44 million (2022 result), but paid us today a FF dividend, so $34.3million of those franking credits gone. So they would only have around $9.7 million left.
Sure they maybe paying (well should be) income tax monthly, but the question is how much. I hope it is FF.
