Terracom is an emerging coal miner with several projects in Queensland and South Africa.Despite being a relatively junior miner, it has grown significantly over the past few years. Part of this growth came via its acquisition of South African company Universal Coal Plc in June 2020, which gave it a portfolio of primarily thermal coal mining assets.Given its smaller size, an investment in Terracom comes with more risk than its larger competitors. However, it could also provide more significant growth opportunities.
The company has several exploration projects underway at sites in Queensland which, if successful, could see the company ramp up production in future years.
