I said a cheaper price is good with the meaning/intent behind it that more units can be bought to maximise future dividend income. Of course the market cap going down isn't the best but let's look at the bigger picture. The whole market has taken a battering with shareprices being effected. By your logic those companies would also have bad culture.
In regards to Coal. The concensus world wide is that coal is bad for the environment and to be phased out. Of course that will have effect on coal companies market caps and share prices, It's got nothing to do with their culture.
As shareholders we are simply waiting for direction from management which I believe will come in the next year or two. For now, TER are paying very good dividends to us shareholders. Better then most companies in comparison. I wouldn't call that bad culture or us being "diddle diddled".
