Have been watching AGL very closely and by looking at the chart and how oversold it is. As it stands, AGL is in the ASX50 index, and just looked at the recent ASX50 list of stocks by market cap and AGL now sits at the bottom.
It may be possible that index funds have been selling off before AGL is booted out of the index. All in my opinion only. I have seen stocks before where the selling don't seem to stop only to see a notice of index rebalancing later on. Just a thought.
