Current/past performance does not indicate future perf, etc etc. the Nz ***bermint holds 51% of Aiz, expected to be voted out later this year and replaced by an even worse bunch of greedy buggers, led by a bloke called egghead luxon, who was ceo of Aiz before he became tired of having to work for a living. Egghead was not overly respected by staff whilst ceo, pretentious and out of touch.
none of which alters the fact Aiz is well outperforming Qantas lately and the current special dividend is around 20% anualised dependant on your imputations/franking.
