If bought at the current price AYUPA has an interest rate of 9.25%, I bought at $84.425 which had an implied interest rate of 8.88% which I thought was acceptable, however Australian Unity has a rating of BBB stable which is someway down the investment grade. Australian Unity has been around for about 180 years and has survived many financial crises and will hopefully continue to do so into the future so I continue to hold. The current sell off is just reflecting the dividend as you point out.
