The process may be 7 days as you state for DRP detail to be completed. If this is the process is is a very poor process in my opinion for BHP which is a leader in other aspects of performance. I will be cancelling in my future DRP option as waiting for 7 days to see DRP details , or being able to trade those shares are a poor option.
I also had DRP option with Woodside. I received the DRP same day a the payment date and sold same day.
