WPL just announced a first half dividend of around $A1.40 . As you know the BHP O&G revenue is being put aside to transfer to WPL once the demerger/merger occurs later in the year and therefore I assume the BHP dividend does not include any on the revenue from the O&G arm.
WPL shareholders received a dividend for their first half profits however us BHP shareholder have not for the O&G assets. Once the BHP revenue hits WPL I assume the current WPL shareholders will then also get a share of that revenue when the full year results are calculated, Am I missing something???
