Many of you in here having a whinge seem to lack any understanding of finance, profits, EPS, and ultimately the payout ratio for dividends. BHP cannot control commodity prices, it had a decent result given that, and it paid out over 50% of its profits which is inline with its dividend policy that is also public information for all to see.
Cannot complain with this result and solid growth pipeline coming online over the next few years up until 2030.
